For me, I think it's my attention to detail and the pursuit of always being better and doing better. My craft and my business are at the core of my heart and I think it shows when I am in a session with you & in the final product. Every single year, I invest in my self to hone in on my photography skills. I think the more invested we are in our endeavors, the more we thrive. aving a large family has made me a professional multitasker of chaos. This (and my trigger finger) are the reasons I am able to capture moments you didn't even know existed. That millisecond of a smirk your babe gave--I got it. Your husband laughing at all of the chaos of the kids. All of the moments, captured, I promise.

A snapshot into my life
My husband and I have been together since we were 16. He loves golfing, playing guitar and spending a lot of time after work in the bathroom playing on his phone. Although, I guess that's most husbands! While he drives me crazy putting laundry on top of the hamper, putting used batteries back in the drawer, and always completing 95% of any project, he makes up for it in SO many ways. He gives a better foot rub than anyone on the planet, he plays Italian restaurant music anytime we eat Italian food at home, and makes me laugh even on the worst of days. He is my partner in crime and my biggest supporter in any endeavor I take on.
My best friend
We have 4, (yeah FOUR) kiddos, Hadlee, Harper, Hunter, and Bohdi. The oldest two are silly, rambunctious, and most importantly, kind and they love Jesus. The youngest two are Irish twinados, who never let us sit down. Our house is NEVER quiet or dull. Whether it's shenanigans at dinner, breaking up an argument over what belongs to who, or trying to control our 150 pound great dane. While they may be perfectly styled in this image, they are typically running around barefoot in mismatched clothes looking like ragamuffins and playing outside.

My family and I love to travel! I have a ton of places on my wishlist; Italy, Paris, Scotland, Australia (again), Africa, you name it. When a chance arises to go somewhere, I am an automatic yes-if I can make the funds appear, especially if it's with my family. There's a whole other part to vacationing though, that people don't warn you about--traveling with your kids. That is called a trip--not a vacation! All kidding aside, I am looking forward to the days where family vacations are relaxing and full of amazing memories., maybe minus the meltdowns and constant need for snacks. Until then, I will continue to do the things and make the memories with my family, because those moments are fleeting.

Photography is a creative escape for me. It keeps me from drowning in the overwhelm of life. The late nights of editing, planning your perfect session wardrobe, the conversations with clients in between cooking dinner and making a Halloween costume, the evenings spent capturing the most beautiful moments with families--it's all worth it when the finish product is so gorgeous and makes my clients reel with such joy when they see their images.
